Overview of Charity Navigator

Our team at Charity Navigator is small in number, but large in impact. We have a deep passion for the work that we do to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the non-profit sector as well as how donors think about the way they give to it. We believe in fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation that blends critical thinking and creativity. We value both intellectual and professional growth while maintaining a sense of humor and fun in our work culture. We believe that everyone should have a voice so open communication is a vital component of our success. Beyond this, we provide a comprehensive benefits package to all full time employees as well as working to encourage everyone to maintain a solid work-life balance.

What Our Employees Are Saying

Sandra Miniutti

Working at Charity Navigator is like getting paid to earn your graduate degree in nonprofit management! Whatever your role at Charity Navigator and wherever your ambition lies in the future, one of the fundamental benefits of working here is the knowledge you’ll gain. Our staff become experts in all facets of nonprofit best practices and how they apply to different types of nonprofits – from museums to food banks. They also gain a deep understanding of the opportunities, challenges and trends taking place in the philanthropic sector overall.

Kevin Doyle
Associate Program Analyst
I can't say which is more relevant in making Charity Navigator a tremendously rewarding work environment: its mission or its people. Knowing that my work can and will influence the entire social sector is incredibly satisfying, but even more so is the opportunity to work with such phenomenally talented and driven coworkers. Everyone here cares passionately about Charity Navigator and its mission, and I couldn't be happier to be a part of this team.

Lindsey Struck
Program Analyst
I think Charity Navigator affords a unique perspective on the social sector. Even though we don't deliver direct services like many other organizations, we are able to see evidence that our work influences the greater trajectory of the nonprofit community. Working at Charity Navigator is an opportunity to help shape and direct the conversation on results reporting. We're part of a team that is doing work no one else in the sector is doing, and that makes what we do worth it.
