The May 12, 2008 earthquake in China caused billions of dollars in damage, killed thousands, and left many people homeless and hungry. As heart-wrenching photos of the devastating damage caused by the 7.9 magnitude earthquake blanket the news, we at Charity Navigator know that many of our members will want to help the victims of this disaster.
