Apparently due diligence is not a factor when making comments like those above. What price does one put on a soul? David Harris has committed his life to making the AJC a respected world-class think tank and advocacy organization that identifies social, political and religious trends and problems early - and takes action. Without the national and international political and religious reach and respect the AJC has earned through the years, and continues to earn under David Harris's leadership, it is quite possible our children and grandchildren would not be around to be proud of their heritage. Thank God there are those who understand we must build bridges before building monuments. What good is a school full of books, if no one is there to read them? Never again.

In all good conscience, I cannot donate to a charity that pays it's CEO over $400,000. Sad.

Why waste your money?

Unfortunately, this site does not evaulate the "big picture," i.e., will my donation accomplish anything? Giving your money to the AJC is about as effective as shredding it.

If you want to support Jewish identity and continuity, give your money to Chabad or Aish HaTorah or Ohr Somayach International. These programs may have fewer stars but the end result will be Jewish kids proud of their heritage and not endless puffed-up surveys and historical studies for an army of overpaid administrators to publicize in press releases no one cares about.
