We've seen what they've done in Asia - with micro loans (for women to buy sewing machines) long before it was the smart thing to do. They incorporated food donated from the US to make nutritional foods for families, enriching rice and noodles. They provided nursery care so mothers could work and support families. And they provided English lessons in Hong Kong to help young people get good jobs in the tourism industry. Well done!

Obnoxious calls

Some of the charities I donate to have started having people call to hassle about more donations. I feel like this is invasive and probably not a good ROI. LWR was not as rude as some of the others, but I find this frustrating.
