Although the CEOs salary is outrageous, would a lower-paid CEO achieve the same results?
Oink!

Like those above, I was going to contribute until I saw the CEO's salary!
No way now!

It looks like he runs a very efficient organization, but this is supposed to be a charity, not a business. Get a CEO with less greed.
CEO compensation

I just tore up the request to donate after seening the CEO Compensation, too. There are other organizations that can do the same work w/o high CEO wages. I want my money to work for the cause, not the CEO
CEO to high decided not to give now

Every one agrees. You don't get rich from a charity. you give and not take. Some of these CEO's have been fired from higher paying jobs and think they are ruffing it when they only get 1/2 million instead of 2 or 3. You are off my list.

For many years we have donated to this charity. However, in these difficult times we think the CEO salary is too high. We won't donate this year.

As for the others, I, too, was going to donate, but due to the CEO's salary, will not do so. I would think that he would reconsider his salary in light of today's economy.

I have donated before & I think this is a good cause. However, I feel the president's salary is way too high for me to continue.

I was about to donate until I saw CEO's pay. Almost $600.000 a year?? Too high, I'll donate when then pay the CEO less salary.
Excessive salary

As we take the effort to evaluate charitys that we are willing to help this time of the year it becomes a very negative impact to know that a CEO of a charity pays themselves this high of a salary.

I'm sure he brings great value BUT I have a chance to contribute to other exemplary service organizations where the ceo chooses to earn a more modest salary--thus impressing me with his/her commitment to service.
