Hello, I'm a member of UUSC's staff and am writing to apologize for the miscommunication. We would be happy to register each of your children as individual student members if you send me an e-mail with your contact information. You can reach me at Lmartin@uusc.org. Thank you for your support. Lynn Martin
student memberships

We donated $30.00 to establish our three children as individual student members. Two were put into a joint membership. When I called the staff were scrupulously polite, but clearly taken aback by my request and unable to adequately explain why this was done. There is no way to get the membership changed. I won't be maintaining these memberships. UUSC does good work but has lousy member service.

Comparisons

Seems to me more appropriate organizations to compare UUSC with would be Catholic Charities, the Jewish cheritable organization, etc.
And it would be interesting to know how UUSC's expenditures are divided between "foreigh" and "domestic", and among charitable work vs. political activism, etc.
UUSC does a bunch of good things. Would just like to know how its $$$ are apportioned among them.
