Fair Salary

I find the director's salary to be quite fair in market terms. When you hire someone to manage a multi-million dollar budget, that person needs to be of a certain caliber. A $180K salary is neither too high, nor too low. It's just right.
My husband and I are looking for a beneficiary for our estate, and I'm quite comfortable and in fact relaxed with the SPCA Director's salary here. The CAP director is under paid.

I am sure 100 people would take that job for less then half the salary, mainly because they would be taking the Job because of what they can do to help animals and NOT HOW MUCH MONEY THEY CAN MAKE, FUNNY THEY ONLY PAY THERE FRONT LINE HARD WORKERS 8 OR 10 BUCKS AN HOUR!
$180,000?!?

I'm shocked to learn that the Director makes that much money, incredible! In my book, the only way she's getting out of this is if over half her salary is donated back to helping homeless animals.
It would be just plain better if it went there in the first place. I agree, CAP all the way.

I have just joined this website, and I am appalled that my hard earned money has been going to pay the director $171,000!! for WHAT?!! my money will now be donated only to CAP (citizens for animal protection), whose director takes a more rational $46,000.
