Wonderful People, Puppies, and Cats

The people at the BHS are absolutely terrific. What a wonderful organization!

I have a BHS alum (dog) and have participated in several events. Sasha's Race is fun, yes informal, but a fun race. The Humane Race is also a terrific fun run. Great people who host these events for the benefit of the animals--we need more people like that in the world!

Thanks BHS staff & volunteers...Terrific job!

I also attended Sasha's race this past winter, and was extremely pleased with it. The volunteers running the event were competent and friendly, and the event was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone I talked to.

Keep up the good work!

Bad event.

I went to the Sasha's Race event on Friday, Feb 20 and it was HORRIBLE! It was a poorly organized event catering to a very specific circle of people who were obviously in on it from the start. Not one of the 4 people in my group were allowed to race because the course was only operational from 7pm to 730pm. We were turned away because the kids were going...ok, that's fine (7pm). We finished our run, took the lift to the top and came down to the start where there were about 15 people in line (715pm). We thought that since we were all signed up with numbers and everything, that they wouldnt close the course until everyone had raced...when we showed up at the start for the third time (730pm) the guy laughed at us and said "We're all done! We already took it down!" No announcement on the loudspeakers...NOTHING. Thanks for your money, now go away. Door prizes? NONEXISTANT. If there were prizes for racing, the people who were in on it walked away with them. There was nothing in reality that backed up the advertised event. I paid $20 for my lift ticket, then $25 for a racing bib that I never used. TERRIBLE. I hope they use my money for the good of the animals because THIS ORGANIZATION DOESN'T CARE ABOUT PEOPLE. NEVER AGAIN.
