Yeah, that's probably why their expenses are low. They probably don't have full time staff or rely a lot on volunteers.

I made a donation and bought gifts from this organization in December 2007. Over a month later and I have not received any of the items I ordered and have not gotten a receipt for my donation. I have e-mailed them - no response. I have called them - no one answered and I could not leave a message because the answering machine was full. I am wondering if this charity is still viable, much less four stars!

I have known of this charity since 1988. There is no doubt this organization and Dr. Galdikas are here to stay and continue to save countless Orangutans. I have seen it with my own eyes. You can be assured the money donated is taken directly to save the orangutan on all fronts. A great charity and a great cause. Please donate.
