Freedom From Religion Foundation

Protecting the constitutional principle of the separation of state and church

FFRF does good fights for church/state separation

Lawsuits are continuously waged against the forces of intolerance. Keep up to date with their good fights for just $20 a year with a subscription to their paper. And if you need help with your locality, ask for their staff attorney.

ahimsajack's charge of false advertising is false.

Primary scope of FFRF is spelled in its name.

I disagree that FFRF is guilty of false advertising.

While Freedom of Religion Foundation supports separation of church and states. Unlike American United for Separation of Church & State FFRF's primary goal is not spearing Church & State. It is clearly spelled in its name - promotion of freedom from religion.

False advertising

I joined the FFRF explicitly to support the separation of church and state. I have found this to be a front for atheism. I have no argument with atheism, although I am a Deist, but the FFRF advertises that they are primarily geared towards separation of church and state

FFRF rocks!!

FFRF is a wonderful organization for those skeptical of religious claims, and especially state/church entanglement issues. If you think the govt. should abide by the constitution and stay OUT of religion, FFRF is your watchdog group! They actively bring lawsuits against govt. entities that violate church/state issues, many times successfully! Also, their montly (10 times/yr.) newspaper, "Freethought Today" is a treasure! It's filled with current updates of lawsuits, events, etc., and excellent articles on freethought, atheism, etc. I particularly enjoy the large letters column. If you want to help keep our constitution a "godless" document as our founding fathers intended, want to know "what's up" with other freethingkers around the country/world, by all means join FFRF! They rock!
