Scam?

My wife got a letter in the mail saying she would donate $25 to this Foundation (she never did this), then we kept getting calls from them asking if she was going to send in a check or if she wanted to pay by credit card over the phone. She finally answered once saying to them "Please stop calling us! I never said I would donate!" Then she hung up. Hopefully they stop now.

If you do not like these calls

The Secretary of State of Washington State has a website of info on this "non-profit." http://www.secstate.wa.gov/charities/search_detail.aspx?charity_id=21824

If you do not enjoy these phone calls, I suggest you contact your local Attorney General's Office, Charitable Division. Have the name of the charity, address, and phone number. Also collect same info if a Commercial Fundraiser is calling you.

Very few charities call you themselves. Most likely the AG will send a letter on your behalf to the charity/fundraiser requesting to remove your name, phone number, and address from their lists, and to not contact you again.

A joke

Not even 1 percent goes toward the cause?? What a racket.

When they called there`s all this noise in the background.Lot`s of talking. It almost sounds like your in a busy hospital. They must play a tape recording when they call.
