This is worthwhile charity. Rett Syndrome is the most severe autism spectrum disorder affecting primarily girls & women. It is a devastating disorder, robbing the girls of hand use and speech. Many suffer from seizures, breathing irregularities, muscle strength, swallowing, and other lifelong issues. Rett Syndrome is very close to major scientific breakthroughs. These new scientific discoveries which many have amazing effect on these beautiful girls and provide critical information for other disorders such as Autism & Parkinsons. It is considered the Rosetta Stone for many neurological disorders.Rett syndrome is the only Autism spectrum disorder with a known genetic cause. Rett syndrome strikes all racial and ethnic groups, and occurs worldwide in 1 of every 10,000 to 23,000 female births.Every 5 hours a girl is born with Rett Syndrome.
