shockingly rude

When my husband responded to a telemarketer that he was presently unemployed and unable to contribute, the woman became confrontational and rude.
If you do not like these calls

The Secretary of State of Washington State has a website of info on this "non-profit." http://www.secstate.wa.gov/charities/search_detail.aspx?charity_id=5315
If you do not enjoy these phone calls, I suggest you contact your local Attorney General's Office, Charitable Division. Have the name of the charity, address, and phone number. Also collect same info if a Commercial Fundraiser is calling you.
Very few charities call you themselves. Most likely the AG will send a letter on your behalf to the charity/fundraiser requesting to remove your name, phone number, and address from their lists, and to not contact you again.
sounds like a scam

Got a telemarketer call this evening. Right off the bat the first person said he was going to mail me the donation form. He just wanted to know if I would be giving any money. I didn't commit to anything. Then he transferred me to a lady in order to take me off of the calling list. She asked me straightaway for my address. That sent up a red flag, since the first person had said he already had plans to mail me the form, and that this call was just a formality. If they or any charity says they have your address and then later they ask you for it, be extremely careful. Don't donate over the phone unless you made the phone call.

Rude caller

I also have received a call from Wishing Well. Along with the other commenters, they refused to take "no" for an answer. I told them I had recently retired and my income had been drastically cut. The lady kept insisting I could give something. This "personal" call came after I received a recorded call that I gave a reply to not call this number again. This would be about the last charity I ever give to... not with this type of pressure. As with most telemarketers I had to hang up on them to end the call.
