Shared Hope International
Leading a worldwide effort to eradicate sexual slavery . . .one life at a time
Outcomes and success indicators

I strongly encourage anyone who may be considering a donation to Shared Hope to look at the SHI website to see the real success indicators of their efforts: outreach efforts, public awareness campaigns, support of building of rescue & restorations centers. The Charity Navigator rating numbers are only a very superficial look at this great organization and you need to look further to understand the real value and use of your donations. I encourage your full support to stop this evil of sexual trafficking of children in the US and abroad.
SHI's Intentional Change in Funding Sources
Posted by SHI Fiscal Mgr | March 24, 2009 5:46:06 AM
The urgency of the sex trafficking issue requires that Shared Hope International be able to move faster than the government grant process permits, therefore the SHI Board of Directors made the decision in 2006 to move away from reliance upon this type of funding. The result has been a short-term decline in total revenue and a gradual regrowth as we move towards becoming fully funded by private individuals and foundations.

I have been supporting SHI since 2002 or 2003 when I heard Miss Linda on Focus on the Family. They are making a difference in the world of women and girls who are in a living hell. For all the weight she's carrying, Miss Linda takes a modest salary, in my opinion. I support SHI 100%. Like the other comment said, the figures don't tell the whole story.
