Mission
Founded by coffee roaster Bill Fishbein in 1988, Coffee Kids works with local organizations in Latin America to create education, health care, micro-credit, and community-based programs for coffee farmers and their families. These efforts allow coffee farmers to reduce their dependence on the volatile coffee market and to confront the most pressing community needs. Coffee Kids currently works with 12 partners in five countries: Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Peru. Several thousand families in over 100 communities benefit from Coffee Kids programs.
