Mission
The mission of JAFCO Children's Fund is to provide sustained funding for Jewish Adoption and Foster Care Options (JAFCO). Established in 1992, JAFCO serves abused and neglected children in South Florida. JAFCO currently provides an entire continuum of programs and services for at-risk children and their families including family preservation and case management services; foster/adoptive parent recruitment, MAPP training and licensing, and home study; foster care placement; adoption placement and post adoption support services; Forever Friends mentoring program; Multi Systemic Therapy; emergency shelter; and group homes. JAFCO believes in providing one less obstacle in the healing process by providing a child with a familiar cultural and religious environment.
