Mission

In 1997, leaders from seven ovarian cancer groups joined forces to form the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance. Their primary goal was to establish a coordinated national effort to place ovarian cancer education, policy and research issues prominently on the agendas of national policy makers and women's health care leaders. Our mission is to conquer ovarian cancer by uniting individuals and organizations in a national movement. The Alliance commits its resources to be a voice for ovarian cancer survivors and to conquering this deadly disease by advocating at the federal state level for: adequate and sustained funding for ovarian cancer research and awareness programs; and legislation that improves quality of life and access to care for cancer patients.
