Mission

Cooperative Feeding Program serves the hungry and homeless of Broward County. From the humble beginnings of distributing a few peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to the homeless, to today's provision of 1.2 million meals a year, the agency's dramatic development has reflected both the growing numbers and the growing needs of the poor in our community. When families fall into economic hardship, the Cooperative Feeding Program provides counseling and support to help them out of the throes of difficult times. Our diverse family center offers them hope, contact with community-wide services, and emotional support. The Cooperative Feeding Program is involved in education and advocacy issues. Our focus is on quality of life for children, the ill, and the elderly.
