Mission

Established in 1989, the World Land Trust-US provides local conservation organizations around the world the financial resources they need to purchase and protect critical lands for biodiversity conservation. We specifically target lands that are critical for preventing immediate species extinctions and are exceptionally rich in biological diversity. Celebrating 20 years of lasting conservation actions we are proud to have saved over 600,000 acres of endangered habitats in 16 countries and over 50 sites.
