Mission

The Association of Hole in the Wall Camps is a nonprofit umbrella organization that serves existing Hole in the Wall Camps as well as camps in formation. Our mission is to extend the Hole in the Wall Camp experience to as many children with serious illnesses and life-threatening medical conditions as possible. Founded by Paul Newman over two decades ago with the idea that no child should have to compromise their childhood because of a serious illness, the Association today oversees eleven full member camps in eight countries, seven new camps in various stages of development, and five Global Partnership Initiatives in Africa and Asia.
