Founded in 1860, Bard College is a four-year residential college of the liberal arts and sciences, offering the bachelor of arts degree with concentrations in over forty academic programs in four divisions: the arts, languages and literature, science, mathematics, and computing and social studies. Approximately 1,600 undergraduates study at the Annandale campus; 52 percent female, 48 percent male, usually representing 50 states.
