Mission

Founded in 1826, Case Western Reserve University offers unlimited opportunities for motivated students. Our faculty balance challenge and support to help you flourish, and our partnerships with world-class cultural, educational and scientific institutions ensure that your education extends beyond the classroom. With more than 60 majors and a host of minors in four undergraduate colleges - arts and sciences, engineering, management and nursing - Case provides the resources, breadth of programs, and opportunities of a large university. At the same time, our student population of 4,300 and our 9:1 student-to-faculty ratio create an environment of a small college where meaningful relationships are built with professors and fellow students.
