Mission

With roots dating back to 1874, Colorado College (CC) is a private, four-year liberal arts college. Consistently ranked in the top tier in U.S. News & World Report for our academic excellence, CC is the only such college in the Rocky Mountain region. Best known for our innovative Block Plan, where students take and professors teach only one course at a time, Colorado College offers a new perspective on core classes and standard curriculum. CC offers more than 80 majors, minors, and specialized programs, and a course selection that is unparalleled in its emphasis on internationalism and broad cultural perspectives. Additionally, with class sizes averaging 13 students, everyone has a chance to contribute, analyze, and debate.
