Mission

Manchester College traces its origin to 1860, and is a primarily undergraduate, residential, liberal arts community rooted in the tradition of the Church of the Brethren. Our approximately 1,150 students choose from at least 55 areas of study and 17 NCAA Division III varsity sports. Manchester College respects the infinite worth of every individual and graduates persons of ability and conviction who draw upon their education and faith to lead principled, productive, and compassionate lives that improve the human condition. Manchester is committed to being a community of faith and learning where students know that when they graduate they will be prepared to start rewarding careers and assume responsible roles of leadership in society.
