Mission

Established in 1971, Michigan Opera Theatre presents opera, dance and educational activities to make a positive impact on the lives of people in metro-Detroit. This year, Michigan Opera Theater will present five grand opera productions and four stunning dance productions, teach hundreds of classes, visit countless communities and schools, and help thousands of people experience the cultural arts.
