Mission

The YMCA of Greater Seattle serves King and south Snohomish counties. Since 1876, the YMCA of Greater Seattle has provided safe and caring environments, positive role models, creative activities, and opportunities to serve the needs of others. These are the essential building blocks for strong kids, strong families, and strong communities. Through our 12 branches, two resident camps and more than 630 programs throughout the community, the YMCA positively impacts more than 140,700 people of all ages, races, faiths and economic backgrounds. We work to build a community where all people, especially the young, are encouraged to develop their fullest potential in spirit, mind and body.
