Mission
The Ramona Humane Society (RHS), formerly the Ramona Animal Shelter, is dedicated to fostering the humane treatment of all animals. RHS began in 1969 to improve the humane treatment of animals. With the inspiration of our founders and the help of our supporters, RHS found a new home at 690 Humane Way in 1994. Our accomplishments include an adoption program, low cost spay, neuter and shots clinic, license purchasing, lost and found services, and micro-chipping services. RHS has also instituted a senior pets for seniors program and provides educational materials to the general public.
