Mission

Since 1984, The Community Foundation of Louisville (CFL), through its donors, has built a charitable endowment to support the nonprofits that make our region a vital and secure place in which to live and work. Our mission is to advance philanthropy by serving the charitable interests of donors; enabling increased charitable giving; and improving communities by being a permanent philanthropic resource for current and future needs. CFL is a collection of more than 1,100 charitable funds; a service for giving that provides the flexibility to meet a wide range of needs; a partner with professional advisors; a grantmaker that awards over $25 million annually; and a community leader that brings people and organizations together to create positive change.
