Mission
Led by Music Director Giancarlo Guerrero and President and CEO Alan D. Valentine, the GRAMMY® Award-winning Nashville Symphony has earned international recognition for its artistic achievement and its recently opened concert hall, Schermerhorn Symphony Center. With 148 performances annually, the 84-member orchestra is an arts leader in Middle Tennessee and beyond, offering a broad range of classical, pops, jazz, special events and family concerts. In addition to its concert schedule, the ensemble provides numerous education and community engagement programs that reach more than 170,000 people annually. The Nashville Symphony is also recognized as one of America's most active recording orchestras, having released 20 recordings since 2000.
