Mission

ZERO - The Project to End Prostate Cancer began as the National Prostate Cancer Coalition; founded in 1996 to grow the federal government's investment in prostate cancer research. During the last 12 years, ZERO has increased federal research funds by 500 percent; played a key role in a 35 percent drop in prostate cancer deaths; administered more than 65,000 free prostate cancer tests; and distributed more than one million pieces of prostate cancer education and awareness materials. We commit ourselves not only to reduce prostate cancer or alleviate the pain from the disease but to end it. To accomplish our goal, we provide comprehensive treatment information to patients, education to those at risk and we're conducting more free screenings than ever before.
