Mission

The mission of the American College of Rheumatology Research and Education Foundation (REF) is to improve patients' lives through support of research and training that advances the prevention, treatment and cure of rheumatic diseases. To effectively realize this mission, the REF has adopted a multi-year strategic plan focused on three key organizational priorities: fostering and providing financial support for career development; actively supporting rheumatic disease research; and increasing the amount of money raised from non-industry sources.
