Mission
National Relief Charities' (NRC) function is to manage all of the responsibilities of our program arms: The American Indian Relief Council, the Council of Indian Nations, the American Indian Education Foundation, the Southwest Indian Relief Council, Sioux Nation Relief Fund, Navajo Relief Fund and Native American Aid. These responsibilities include overhead and fundraising, and do not include the actual emergency relief and self-help portions of the programs. Our areas of focus are food relief, elderly and youth services, health projects, holiday projects and education. We have a number of programs, such as holiday projects and clothing and food deliveries that occur on many reservations.
