Mission

Founded in 1977, the Austin Community Foundation (ACF) is the heart of philanthropic giving in Central Texas. The Foundation is a unique connection between donors from all walks of life and the broad spectrum of efforts that improve our evolving community. The Foundation manages more than 800 charitable funds, established by individual donors, corporations, non-profit agencies and partner foundations. Our job is to make these funds grow so that they can flow back into the community to support a wide range of charitable efforts, including grants and scholarships. The ACF is proud to serve as the bridge between the remarkable people who want to give and the equally remarkable people who use those gifts to better all of our lives.
