Founded in 1993, EcoLogic Development Fund advances conservation of critical natural resources in rural areas of Latin America by promoting sustainable livelihoods that affirm local cultures and by strengthening community participation in natural resource management. The key to EcoLogic's success is our partners, grassroots and indigenous-led organizations that reflect the values and needs of their communities. To date, EcoLogic has provided direct assistance to more than 5,000 rural communities who serve as stewards to over 6 million acres of ecologically rich habitat in Latin America. With our partners, EcoLogic finds sustainable, long-term solutions to complex environmental challenges - solutions that improve human well-being today and protect precious natural resources crucial to future generations.
