Mission
The Global Fund for Women, an international network of women and men committed to a world of equality and social justice, advocates for and defends women's human rights by making grants to support women's groups around the world. We are part of a global women's movement that is rooted in a commitment to justice and an appreciation of the value of women's experience. The majority of our grants range between $500 to a maximum annual grant of $20,000. Since 1987, the Global Fund for Women has granted over $71 million to more than 3,800 women's groups in 167 countries. The extraordinary courage, perseverance and leadership of these groups advance the international women's movement and promote social justice worldwide.
