Mission
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Denver owns and operates the Denver Ronald McDonald House. The Denver Ronald McDonald House is known as the house that love built. The Ronald McDonald House serves families with a seriously ill or injured child being treated at a Denver area hospital. Families wishing to stay at the House must live at least 60 miles outside of Denver. The first Colorado house opened in 1979, the new 35,000 square foot house opened in 2001, and in 2008, a third 76,000 square foot facility opened with the capacity to house 45 families a night. Our hope is that the Ronald McDonald House is a pleasant and comfortable home-away-from-home for the families that stay here.
