Mission
The mission of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, South Florida Chapter is to end the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis (MS). Since 1953, the South Florida Chapter has provided funds for research to find a cure while offering programs to enhance knowledge, health, and independence for individuals with MS and their families residing in: Broward, Collier, Miami-Dade, Glades, Hendry, Lee, Martin, Monroe, Okeechobee, and Palm Beach Counties. The Chapter is committed to the philosophy of wellness, offering those living with MS the encouragement, materials and skills necessary to achieve and maintain meaningful, productive lifestyles.
