Mission

Founded in 1966, Planned Parenthood of Southwest & Central Florida (PPSWCF) is a family planning organization that has been helping women, men and teens make responsible choices about their sexual health for more than 40 years. Dedicated to delivering the highest quality reproductive health care services, PPSWCF is also committed to providing responsible, age-appropriate sexuality education. Protecting a woman's fundamental right to choose is also a major part of this organization's underlying philosophy. Each year, more than 24,000 women, men, and teens visit Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida's seven health centers in Bradenton, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Lakeland, Winter Haven, Sarasota and Ft. Myers.
