Mission
Founded in 1998, Trees, Water & People (TWP) is dedicated to helping communities protect, conserve and manage the natural resources upon which their long-term well-being depends. Our Tribal Lands Renewable Energy Program harnesses the power of nature to improve the lives of Native Americans living on reservations across the Great Plains. Throughout Central America and Haiti, our healthier fuel-efficient cookstoves and community tree nurseries reduce deforestation and combat global climate change. All of TWP's efforts benefit both people and the planet.
