Mission
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central & South Texas grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. The Make-A-Wish Foundation is the largest wish-granting charity in the world, with 67 chapters in the United States and its territories. The Central & South Texas chapter has granted over 2,500 wishes since it was founded in 1984. During fiscal year 2008, 228 children in our area experienced the magic of a wish. Children from 40 counties in the central and southern regions of Texas benefit from the efforts of this chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
