Mission

The Arlington Free Clinic (AFC) is a community-based organization committed to providing access to quality health care services at no charge to low-income, uninsured county residents utilizing volunteers and partnering with other health providers. In 2008, AFC provided 8,655 patient visits, including primary care, specialty care, mental health, physical therapy, and patient education. AFC operates its own small licensed pharmacy. Two part-time staff pharmacists and over two-dozen pharmacy volunteers dispensed more than 22,000 prescriptions worth over $1.6 million in 2008. AFC's services include general medical appointments, specialty care, women's and mental health services, physical therapy, and access to pharmaceuticals.
