Mission

Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania (JA of Western PA) inspires and prepares young people to succeed in a global economy. Classroom volunteers make economic concepts relevant, fuel the entrepreneurial spirit, and challenge the students to excel. Our unique delivery system provides the training, materials, and support necessary to ensure a positive experience. Our materials include curriculum for elementary, middle and high school students. JA is the successful bridge between education and business. During the 2007-2008 school year, JA of Western PA reached more than 82,000 students in over 3,700 classrooms throughout the region.
