Mission

The Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana serves as a central resource for fighting hunger in Northwest Louisiana. We distribute food and other essential items to non-profit organizations who sever the needy. Food is also distributed to low-income seniors, half-way houses, and to individuals by emergency referral. We distribute over 3.5 million pounds of food to our member agencies and needy individuals every year. Our vision is to ultimately end hunger in Northwest Louisiana by ensuring a consolidated network of effective food collection and distribution which will provide universal access to free food for the needy in our communities.
