Mission

Founded in 1990, Living Water International (LWI) exists to demonstrate the love of God by helping communities acquire desperately needed clean water, and to experience "living water" - the gospel of Jesus Christ - which alone satisfies the deepest thirst. At Living Water International, our approach - to train, equip, and consult nationals - ensures that the energy and resources contributed by volunteers and donors result in sustainable, participatory water systems that meet the long-term needs of communities. We implement participatory, community-based water solutions in developing countries. Since we started, we've completed water projects for 7,000 communities in 26 countries.
