Mission

The Boy Scouts of America is the nation's foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training. Boy Scouts of America, Greater Pittsburgh Council serves Allegheny, Beaver, Washington, Greene and portions of Westmoreland and Fayette counties in Southwestern Pennsylvania. We have a membership of over 47,000 young people participating in all phases of the Scouting program: Tiger Cubs, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venturing. We operate five outstanding camping properties, including: Heritage Reservation, our primary summer camping facility: Camp Twin Echo, Camp Anawanna, Camp Guyasuta, and Camp Baker.
