    Charity Navigator Promotes Laura Andes to Chief Program Officer

     

    April 25, 2022 - SADDLE BROOK, N.J. - Charity Navigator, the world's largest evaluator of nonprofits, has announced the promotion of Laura Andes to Chief Program Officer. Ms. Andes will lead the continued evolution of Charity Navigator's nonprofit ratings.

     

    Ms. Andes joined Charity Navigator in September 2021 as Vice President of Impact Ratings. In this role, she led Charity Navigator's Impact Unit and increased the number and types of nonprofits scored on direct programmatic impact.

    Before joining Charity Navigator, Ms. Andes served as the Senior Vice President of National Resident Services at Mercy Housing. Earlier in her career, she spent nearly fifteen years at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). After working to implement the President's Malaria Initiative in multiple African countries, Ms. Andes served as the Division Chief for Strategy, Analysis, Outreach, and Evaluation within the Bureau for Global Health.
