The collaborative and humanistic vision of the school is evident in every layer of the organization. The staff of the school is working to be the example of our educational philosophy in action. As we include families in this work, they in turn are part of the organization. We are a community of learners. Without our community we could not exist.

Briefly describe a recent change that your organization made in response to feedback from the people you serve.
We have adjusted our staffing model to support a wrap-around care approach that supports our students from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm. We have support teachers available in every program so that lead instructors are well supported.

This assessment demonstrates the importance of implementing practices that contribute positively to an organization's overall culture, both internally and with respect to community engagement. Furthermore, equity centered frameworks and similar approaches have drawn much attention from donors, experts, and sector leaders who underscore its value to the nonprofit's overall health and capacity for mission success.
