On December 26, 2017, The Washington State Office of the Attorney General reported on the findings of their investigation of Children's Hospital Emergency Fund in a press statement titled, "AG FERGUSON FILES LAWSUIT AGAINST FAMILY FOR POCKETING HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DONATIONS MEANT FOR DISADVANTAGED CHILDREN." The Children's Hospital Emergency Fund is an alternative name used for Children's Hunger Relief Aid, which currently has a High Concern CN Advisory.
