Mercy Chefs Inc.
Mission
Mercy Chefs is a faith-based, non-profit disaster and humanitarian relief organization. We exist to provide professionally prepared, restaurant-quality meals to victims, volunteers, and first responders in natural disasters and emergencies, and we partner with existing like-minded organizations to further their mission by providing food service in underserved communities across the country and around the globe.
Vision
We envision a world where no disaster victim or person in crisis goes hungry—where professionally prepared, restaurant-quality meals restore not just physical nourishment but hope, dignity, and human connection in the darkest of times. Through our growing network of skilled chef-led disaster response teams and state-of-the-art mobile kitchens, we aspire to be the first boots on the ground and the last to leave, transforming emergency food relief from a basic necessity into a powerful catalyst for healing and community resilience. By 2030, we aim to serve 10 million chef-prepared meals annually, and inspire a global movement where culinary excellence meets compassionate service, proving that in humanity's most challenging moments, a thoughtfully prepared meal can be the first step toward recovery and renewal.
Goals
- 1.Local churches and Christian organizations anchor our emergency response efforts. These trusted partners provide networks of care, local knowledge, and devoted volunteers. Together, we transform immediate relief into lasting recovery—building resilient communities where professional culinary expertise meets grassroots compassion for sustained impact.
- 2.Mercy Chefs deploys state-of-the-art mobile kitchens and professional chefs to disaster zones. We craft restaurant-quality meals from scratch, serving thousands daily. Our culinary excellence transforms emergency feeding into dignity and hope, proving disaster survivors deserve nothing but our very best.
- 3.Local volunteers join Mercy Chefs to serve their own neighbors in crisis. Their compassionate service bridges hearts—creating lasting bonds between hurting community members and local partners that endure long after our mobile kitchens depart. Together, we transform meals into meaningful connections that strengthen communities.
