Vision

The Vineland community transformed by compassion, where hunger and homelessness are reduced and every person is welcomed, nourished, and valued.

Goals

1. 1.Vineland Soup Kitchen hopes to strengthen community partnerships by expanding current partnerships with faith-based organizations, schools, and local businesses, increasing collaboration with members of the NJ Community Kitchens Coalition, and creating opportunities for partners to volunteer, donate, and engage meaningfully.
2. 2.Upgrading to an improved facility and investing in essential kitchen equipment will allow Vineland Soup Kitchen to prepare meals more efficiently and better serve guests. The current space and equipment limit the volume of meals that can be prepared, the types of nutritious foods that can be safely served, and the comfort of guests and volunteers.
3. 3.Vineland Soup Kitchen aims to establish an indoor garden to grow fresh produce that will directly support the meal program. Access to fresh fruits and vegetables is often limited, yet these items are essential for balanced meals.
